Applications are invited for Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2026-27. Ministry of Foreign Affair and the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan has announced “Heydar Aliyev” International Education Grant Program for 2026-2027 academic session. The Scholarship is open to International students for preparatory Undergraduate, Graduate, Doctoral, and General Medicine/Medical residency programs.
Scholarship duration is of 5 years. 100 Scholarships will be awarded. No application fee. Is required. More details about the Scholarship requirement and application are given below

Eligibility Criteria
- The Scholarship is open to all Nationals except Azerbaijan.
- Undergraduate and general medicine programs: Foreign nationals must be below 35 years old.
- Graduate and medical residency programs: Foreign nationals must be below 40 years old.
- Doctoral programs: Foreign nationals must be below 45 years old.

How to Apply for the Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2026?
Step-by-Step Application Process:
- Direct application is not required. Candidate should wait for your country’s designated authorities (Ministries, Embassies, and Higher Education) for announcement of call for application.
- Submit your application with documents to respective authorities.
- Authorities will select and nominate candidates.
- After nomination, proceed to the second stage of application by applying through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS).
