Applications are invited for Humboldt Research Fellowship for Researchers and scholars  in Germany. Humboldt Research Fellowship is being offered by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, in collaboration with DAAD.

Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellowship 2025 details

Fellowship is for international scientist and research scholars from different disciplines who completed their doctorates within last 12 years. It allows to do independent research in collaboration with a German host institution for 6 to 18 months.

Application Deadline

There is no fixed deadline. Selection Committee reviews applications two times annually: July, and November, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

• International researchers from all disciplines and nationality are eligible.  (except Brazil).
• Doctorate should be completed within the last 12 years.
• Publications in internationally recognized journals. .
• letter of invitation from academic host in Germany
• Proficiency in English/ German

• Monthly stipend of EUR 3,170
