The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS-U) is Fully Funded Scholarship in South Korea and is open to citizens of GKS Scholarship Partner countries. 256 New students will receive scholarship for bachelor’s studies in 2027. What are Embassy Track and University Track?
In Embassy Track, students are required to apply through the Korean Embassy where you hold citizenship (Embassy Track).
In University Track, students can directly apply to one of the designated universities (University Track).

Duration of Program
- Associate Degree: 1 year of the Korean language program, 2~3 years of the degree program.
- Undergraduate Degree: 1 year of the Korean language program, 4~6 years of the degree program.
Eligibility Criteria for the GKS Undergraduate Scholarship 2027
- Candidate should be citizen of a Global Korea Scholarship partner country.
- Candidate cannot have a bachelor’s degree.
- Your academic score (CGPA) must meet one of the following:
- Above 2.64 out of 4.0
- Above 2.80 out of 4.3
- Above 2.91 out of 4.5
- Above 3.23 out of 5.0
- Your score percentile must be 80% or higher.
- Age limit is 25 years.
For Result Waiting Candidates:
Applicants who are expected to graduate must first submit a Certificate of Expected Graduation at the time of application.
