Higher Education Commission Pakistan is inviting applications from Pakistani researchers, scientists, and faculty members for the higher education commission research awards competition 2021.
Awards shall be given in three broad disciplinary domains.

1. Social science
2. Physical sciences
3. Life sciences

This award aims to recognize and reward excellence in

2. Intellectual development and social welfare
3. Promotion of publication with high impact

Categories of Higher education commission research awards
The award will be given in the following three categories
1. Best Researcher
2. Best young Researcher
3. Best Publication
Eligibility Criteria for Higher Education Commission Research Awards

1. Blacklisted Applicants are not eligible to apply.
2. Applicant should not be awarded for this award in past.
3. Applicants’ publications should not be plagiarized as per HEC policy.

Category wise eligibility criteria for Higher Education Commission Research Awards

1 Best Researcher Category
For applying in this category candidate should be residing in Pakistan for the last three years.

2 Best Young Researcher Category
The age limit for this category is under 40 years till 1st January 2021.
For applying in this category candidate should be residing in Pakistan for the last 1 year till 1st January 2021

3 Best Publication Category
1. Publication should be a journal article or scholarly book.
2. Publication must not be more than three years old before 1st January 2021.
3. Number of Authors for publication should not be more than three.
4. All authors should be residing in Pakistan for the last three years 1st January 2021.
5. Research articles only published in the W category in the HEC journal recognition system will be considered
6. Research articles with a minimum citation count of 100 are eligible for submission.
7. Research Publications previously submitted for the same category of the award are not eligible for submission.
8. Books must be published by academic press recognized by HEC.
